Mangaluru, Nov 25: Kannada movie 'Arishadvarga' directed by Aravind Kamath will release on November 27 across the state.

It will be released in all the multiplexes and Ramakanthi theatre in Mangaluru. The movie will have its premiere show in Mangaluru and Bengaluru on November 26.

'Arishadvarga' is produced under the banner Kanasu Talkies. Music has been composed by Udith Haritas and lyrics penned by Pavan Kumar. Apart from directing the movie, Aravind Kamath has written and edited the movie.

Avinash, Nanda Gopal, Samyuktha Hornad, Mahesh Bung, Anju Alva Naik, Gopal Krishna Deshpande, Aravind Kuplikar and Sripathi Manjana Bailu are playing pivotal role in the film. 'Arishadvarga' is a character driven mystery thriller.

'Arishadvarga' had its world premiere at the prestigious London Indian Film Festival in June 2019 and was very well received in all the three shows. This was followed by an Asian premiere at the prestigious Singapore South Asian International Film Festival in September 2019 where it garnered positive response. North American premiere at Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival in November 2019. The best part about the festival circuit and focus screenings is that audiences across age groups, race, class and gender had wonderful things to say about the film, says the movie team.

The speciality of the movie is that there is no protagonist, everyone plays an important role. By not differentiating roles, director Aravind believes that every character depicted in this movie will captivate the mind of the audience.

Among the star cast, Anju Alva Naik hails from Mangaluru who is making her debut in the movie. She is daughter-in-law of businessman Dr K C Naik and wife of Sanjith Naik of Mahabaleshwar Builders and secretary and trustee of Shakthi Education Trust. Anju Alva Naik is an award winning theatre artiste.

The journey of Anju Alva Naik started in the year 2012 with Short and Sweet theatre festival where she played the role of an Afghan refugee, which won her the best actress award. She has been cast in commercials for brands like Amazon, Nestle, Byjus, Ola Cabs, Bajaj Investments and Kellogg’s Chocos.
