Polling booth officials have been notified about the special revision campaign of voters' list. Every booth officer will have 300 houses under his/her limits. Apart from the specified dates on which special campaign is going to be held, the officers will visit each household under their limits also. However, the EC officials have requested the citizens not to wait for the polling booth officers to visit their house but go to their polling booth office and get the required correction or addition of name done.

Dr Rajiv Kumar, chief election officer of Karnataka said, "Voters' list campaign is held mainly for adding names of young voters and also differently-abled citizens. Other voters also can make use of this opportunity. Voting is a constitutional right of every citizen. It is important to one's register name in the voter list to exercise that right."
