Mangaluru, Dec 1: Sahyadri College takes pride in being ranked among the Top 25 in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovations Achievements (ARIIA) 2020, and notably the top 3 in the state of Karnataka as per the E-released report by the Ministry of Education on August 18, 2020.
Sahyadri is listed in ‘Band A’ institution in the category of ‘Private or Self-Financed College’.
Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management was established in 2007, affiliated to VTU Belagavi approved by AICTE and government of Karnataka. Recognized by UGC, DSIR as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO), MHRD and MSME, government of India. Accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’, also accredited by National Board of Accreditation - NBA Accredited for CS, EC, IS, ME and CV Engineering Programmes and IE(I) for all the engineering programs. The institute received four golden stars by Innovation Cell Ministry of Education (MoE) government of India.

Sahyadri encourages students to involve, interact and experiment to build their dreams. 'Walk-in with an Idea and Walk-out with the Product' is a novel concept which involves Project Based Learning. The modern, state of the art infrastructure provides holistic, tech-savvy opportunities for the development of students. In-house skill oriented programs and industry-academia interfaces enable students to learn future technology with hands-on experience and practical exposure to solve socially relevant issues. On-campus start-ups and industries that have given a tremendous boost to the students for innovation, incubation, internships and research. Built on the lines of 'Make in India' concept where students are encouraged to pursue their ideas and innovate continuously through the Centre of Excellence (CoE).
Thereby bridging the gap between knowledge and practice. The CoEs are a full-fledged 24/7 technical workspace to facilitate the research and exploration.
The campus
The campus spread over 30 acres of land located on the riverbank of Netravati, reflects the modern yet eco-friendly architecture, aesthetically constructed with the courtyard system, open spaces, spacious classrooms, well-equipped modern laboratories and a central library. The sprawling Sahyadri campus also includes a beautifully designed food court and a well-developed sports ground with 400 mts athletic track, gymnasium, hostel etc. The campus creates an energizing environment for the young minds to learn, innovate and empower themselves to reach their dreams.
