Maoists Blast Rail Track, Torch Diesel Tankers on Goods Train

Patna, May 20 (IANS) At least 15 diesel tankers caught fire when suspected Maoists derailed a goods train by blasting the railway track and then set afire one of the tankers in Bihar's Motihari district, a railway official said Thursday.

The Maoists targeted the diesel tankers on the goods train between Jeevdhara and Pipra railway stations in Motihari, about 200 km from here.

"The goods train driver and guard informed us that suspected Maoists set afire an oil tanker. After that fire spread to other tankers," East Central Railway Chief Public Relation Officer Dilip Kumar told IANS over telephone.

A local police official said that the fire was still raging.

"The fire is massive and we will have to wait for the fuel to burn out," he said.

Meanwhile, train services have been disrupted in north Bihar as the main track has been blocked, sources in the railways said.

It seems that no will power in any party government to check the terror n naxalite activities spread all over our country..all the ruling party want votes but not care abt our security n safety of our national wealth..who is responsible beyond this? the vote bank policy main reason of spreading terror in INDIA..every party know well but who check? now time have come to think n left vote bank policy n give free hand to security agency to check n control it by any means...what's our army doing from last so many years..no war..atleast try to keep check and balance within india...in each and every budget so much money reserved for our armed forces..for what?..what's the use..atlest utilise..

Dont U know naxal affected areas r not only jharkhand, bihar,W.B. orissa, some part of U.P. bordering with Jharkahnd, A.P.and even karnataka..shingeri, kundapura etc..major problem is that their fight is with govt machinery but the approach is viloatic and killing of innocents must be condemned...Nepal Maoist and China and some christian missonries by one or other way giving support to the naxalism in india.. the best example none other than commander in charge of naxalites held in mumbai 4-5 years ago is none other than from christian missionary..

when we are united india.. govt..should atleast look after our north east states..like manipur/mizoram/nagaland/arunachal etc..for there welfare and not only concentrate only on developed remaining other states..india is now surrended by demons..

It is not a very ordinary, uneducated, poor, tribal people fight against rich, highly educated, modern people. It was before.Fight for the rights. Now Maoists/Naxalas means terrorism. They blast railway tracks, schools, trucks. They take sympathy from famous journalist like Arundati Roy or Human Rights Organization.Naxal problem was limited to only one state in India.

Now stretched over to 5 states. I fear within 2-3 years these  MAOISTS will occupy HALF INDIA. We have very soft corner approach towards everything.Everyone is busy with CRICKET,PARTY,BOLLYWOOD..& say India is shining. I think India is not shining..But China is SMILING.
