Udupi, May 22: Tragedy has struck many families in and around Kaup, Shirva and Moodubelle which have lost their family members and loved ones in the air crash tragedy of today. 

Julekha (43) and her son Abdul Salam (19) of Kaup Mallar was coming to her mother’s place after many years as her family is settled in the gulf.   
 
Manirekha Shetty and her husband and daughter who died in the tragedy are from Kalathur. They had come to Mangalore attend the wedding of Manirekha’s sister’s daughter which was scheduled for coming Monday. The tragedy has sent shock waves to the family members who find it difficult to digest the news of the three members of the family dying in the crash.

Praveen Sherigar (26), who is also among the dead hails from Matharu. He had come to attend the house warming ceremony of his sister scheduled for 22nd and 23rd may and also to attend the wedding of his brother fixed for May 26.   Ignatius (39) is from Manibettu and was the backbone of the family.  Similarly Naveen Kumar (26) from Pangala was the backbone of the family after the death of his father last year. 

Safdar (24) from Uchila came to attend his sister’s wedding and family was also planning to fix his marriage during his visit to Mangalore.

    Early morning when i called to my brother on saturday,my brother said that you were in that same flight dear Nilu(Naveen) i never forget those days which we were playing cricket & volley ball together....really i cried when i heard this news..,i lost my two friends...another from Shankarpura my dear pinki...yesterday when i heard that news i was remembering those days which we were singing on orchestra programes..oh god she was a nice girl why did you took her...Oh god dont give more difficuties to my dear friends...may their soul rest in peace

    Ignatius Uncle we miss u alot and also we love you alot let your soul rest in peace uncle. we were waiting for your arrival but god gave a very bad gift to us and we lost you uncle. just wanted a glance of you uncle and always remember uncle we love you and miss you alot.........we all pray that yore soul rest in peace.....miss u alot uncle......
