Bangalore: Kumaraswamy to Central Cabinet, Acharya to Rajya Sabha?

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, May 27: With Rajya Sabha elections fast approaching, the environment in political circles is thick with interesting speculations, permutations and combinations. Two among them seem to be backed by some sort of reasoning.

Reportedly, home minister, Dr V S Acharya, is fed up with handling his ministry.  He is said be perturbed about the unwanted interference in his ministry by some persons. The fact that he held consultations with the Sangh Parivar leaders on Tuesday, gave some credence to this rumour. Acharya himself confessed to a few of his friends that his name was indeed considered for being nominated to Rajya Sabha. The party is searching for a second candidate besides Venkaiah Naidu for the two Rajya Sabha seats it is sure to bag. Names of M P Kumar for the second seat, and the desirability of fielding legal luminary, Ram Jethmalani, for a possible third Rajya Sabha seat from the state with the support of legislators of other parties, are also under consideration, party sources said. Names are likely to be finalized at the core committee meeting to be held on May 28.

The JDS, on the other hand, with 27 MLAs, needs the support of 18 more MLAs to bag a Rajya Sabha seat. It is said that parleys are on between the Congress leaders and the JDS, about the possibility of the latter supporting the Congress Party’s ambition of bagging two seats from the state. In exchange, the JDS is lobbying hard for a ministerial berth for former state Chief Minister, H D Kumaraswamy, at the centre. The Congress has also promised support to JDS during the legislative council election, it is learnt.

Daiji is wrong again. No one can touch Dr.Acharya. Stop bashing Dr.Acharya. He is the only man who is pure in politics today. He is going no where and will be as home minister. BJP will come to power for another 20 years. Jai Hind! Jai BJP! Jai DR.Acharya!

Dr Acharya is competent but soft natured and accomodating. He has managed the home affairs well
But this Kumaraswamy is begging for a seat is really cheap. He is a dirty faced critic of BJP because he is always jealous

Sometimes I don't know what to make out of the ignorance of some people. If Acharyaji is sent to Rajya Sabha, it would be a great loss to the state. Today, if somebody is working sincerly inthe govt, it is Dr Acharya. Just ask any person in Home dept and you will come to know the efficiency at which works are being done right from the top down. Also, check out who handles power, finance, infrastructure issues when it comes to dealing with center.

Don't make up your opinion just by media reports. If you really ask anybody today in the govt circles, the picture you get completely opposite of that what you see in the papers. So, again I really hope Acharyaji stays here and serves the state bcoz we need people like him who is working very hard every day to make this state a better place.

The upper house the so called Rajya Sabha seats are supposedly for eminent, intelligent and Professionals, who excelled in their field of interest.
Fielding eminent Lawyer Ram Jethmalani definitely yes, but not from Karnataka, Why we do not have any prominent members in Karnataka, like Sri Narayana Murthy, Ms. Kiran Mazumdar, Mr. Madhavan Nair, locals like Dr.B.M.Hegde, Dr. Veerendra Hegde, etc., etc..

SEE THE ANOTHER DISASTER (THIS TIME POLITICAL) AS OUR STATE HOME MINISTER ADMITTING THAT HE "is fed up with handling his ministry. He is said be perturbed about the unwanted interference in his ministry by some persons. HOME MINISTER MAKING COMMENTS LIKE THIS MEANS, WE GENERAL PEOPLE ARE NOT SAFE. WHAT A BLUNDER, THEN WHAT KIND OF PROTECTION WE CAN EXPECT FROM HOME DEPARTMENT, POLICE FROM TERROR & NAXALS, WHAT IS HAPPENING IN OUR STATE. ONE AFTER ANOTHER TRAGEDIES, OH GOD PLASE SAVE US & SAVE OUR COUNTRY & WHOLE WORLD.
