Karkala: Christmas celebrated at NITTE Institute campus

Karkala, Dec 28: “Helping each other for the progress of society should be our priority,” said the parish priest of Kinnigoli church, Fr Praveen Aranha. He spoke as the chief guest at a Christmas celebration held at the campus of NITTE group of institutes on December 24.

NITTE Technological Institute principal, Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar who presided over the programme said that we should be an example for mankind by extending our helping hand. “May the festival celebrations bring about joy and happiness everywhere,” he said.

A cultural programme was held after the hall programme. Students entertained the audience by singing songs with noble messages.

NITTE campus registrar, Yogish Hegde, NITTE Polytechnic College principal, Prashanth Kumar Holla, NITTE Engineering College vice-principal, Dr I R Mittantaya, chief warden Dr Udayakumar Shenoy, Dr Veenadevi Shastrimat, Dr N S A M First Grade College principal, Dr Veena Kumar B K and Dr N S A M English High School principal, Dr Radha Prabhu were present.
