Mangalore, Jun 9: MphasiS, re-enforcing its commitment towards the society and children, has extended support to 230 Anganwadis in and around the city by providing education materials.
In a formal ceremony held recently, Manoj Patel, location leader, MphasiS, Mangalore handed over about 900 educational charts for Anganwadi children to Shobha Rani, project officer, Mangalore City Child Development.
Under the initiative, the employees of MphasiS, Mangalore office along with the local Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) reached out to Anganwadis in and around the city to understand educational needs of children below the age of five. Colourful, easy to read, educational charts were created for these children with an aim to improve learning techniques with the help of visual aids.
Speaking on the occasion, Patel said, “It is a great pleasure to bring a positive difference in the lives of thousands of underprivileged children by empowering them with appropriate learning materials”. “MphasiS, as an organization aims to support child education and development. We strongly believe that our support will address educational needs of the young and build a better future for them,” he added.
