Beltangady: Madantyar Sacred Heart of Jesus’ Feast Celebrated

Beltangady, Jun 13:  The feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Madantyar here was celebrated with great religious fervour on Friday June 11.

The celebration commenced with the high feast mass. Fr Valerian Frank, parish priest of Ammembal Church was the main celebrant.

In his message to the devotees gathered, he stressed the need to thank the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the parish patron for his abundant blessings and love showered on the parish all through these years. He urged the people to walk in the path of love and brotherhood. He also made a special mention of the Year of Priests and asked the people to continue their prayers for the priests.

The Vicar Vara Fr James D’Souza, priests of the varado and other invited priests took part in the mass. The sponsors were honoured on the occasion by the Vicar Vara. Parish Priest Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas proposed the vote of thanks. Large number of parishioners attended the celebration.

    I HAVE GREAT FEELING AND RESPECT FOR THIS CHURCH. SINCE I BORN AND BROUGHT UP IN MADANTHYAR SURROUNDING THIS CHURH AND SCHOOL, STATUE OF BLESSING JESUS IN FRONT OF ME.
