Bengaluru: Kumaraswamy warns CM against meddling with JD(S)

Bengaluru, Jan 19: Former chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, said that no one can finish off the JD(S). He also said that the chief minister will not be able to do that even if he takes another birth to accomplish this target.

Speaking at his office to the media persons on Monday January 18, he said that the chief minister will be safe as long as he does not try to poke his nose in the JD(S) affairs. He recalled that in 2008, Yediyurappa had announced that he would finish off the father-son duo of the JD(S) and the rest is history . A hundred Yediyurappas cannot rock the JD(S) boat. I have a storehouse of information about misdeeds of leaders but I have so far not touched this. We are not running the party out of the amount earned illegally. People talking lightly of us will face the consequences," he warned.

Kumaraswamy refused to speak about the CD issue but said he is ready to discuss corruption. "Henceforth we will not remain quiet on the BJP government's failure," he said. He pointed out that the water resources minister has mentioned that a loan of nine crore rupees had been raised by a person who was sworn newly in a minster. The enforcement directorate has to investigate the matter based on this statement, he urged.

Mentioning about the union home minsiter, Amit Shah's comment about double engine, he said that Shah, if he was truly committed to Karnataka, should have condemned Maharashtra chief minsiter's statement claiming some areas of Karnataka as those of Maharashtra.
