Mangalore: Air Traffic Remains Affected

Mangalore, Jun 16: Air traffic at the local airport remains affected because of heavy rains. The Doha-Bahrain flight that had been cancelled on Monday, took off on Tuesday June 15.

The Jet Airways flight that arrived at 10.40 am could not land because of rain. It went back to Bangalore and touched down here again, at 4.25 pm. The flight went to Mumbai at 5.40 pm. The Jet Airways flight from Mumbai, which was expected to land here at 2 pm arrived at 5 pm and took off later.

The Kingfisher flight from Bangalore to Mumbai however, operated as usual.

The meteorological department has warned the fishermen not to venture into the sea, as strong winds with a velocity of 45 t0 55 kms are expected to blow in the region. It has predicted 75 mm rainfall in the next two days.

    Is this due to the ISL which is yet to be fixed??

    There are so many travellers from middle east who will be going down to Mlore shortly and Im sure all will be affected if this continues.
