Brahmavar, Jan 21: In a Facebook post, a person named Anil Kumar Shetty Perdoor used ugly words to criticise minister Kota Srinivas Poojary. Thereafter, he came under widespread condemnation. A complaint was also lodged on Wednesday January 20 against him at Kota police station.

Shetty, by making use of the photo of a memorandum handed over by Poojary to the chief minister, seeking to set aside Rs 50 crore in the next budget for granting loans at zero percent interest to women from sub tribes like Billawa, Ediga etc in the state, Shetty used expletives against the minister, accusing him of indulging in caste politics.

Complaint lodged at police station

After the post attracted large scale ire, it was deleted. Shetty claimed that the post was created by someone who had hacked his account. However, when a fan of Poojary had contacted him before that and questioned him about the abusive post, Shetty had apologized for this act. This has also become viral.

This is wrong way of protesting... But just want to know how Billavas are considered as subtribe … There are poor people in every caste.. why caste wise discrimination. Even in bunts there are so many people who are suffering. Why are bunts not given any facilities.. Sad that people are divided as per their caste and given facilities and not but checking the living condition of everyone....
