If we make up our mind and have the willpower we can achieve our dreams,” said Sanjith Naik, the secretary of Shakthi Education Trust who was the chief guest for the 72nd Republic Day celebrations at Shakthi Institute. He unfurled the National Flag and shared his views on the Indian achievers across the globe who are heading or occupying prestigious positions in top companies.

India still stands tall and has much more potential than we think it has. Today, as we stand at the cusp of another year, it is essential to reminisce all the wonderful achievements of India in the past decade and recall the moments where we have felt immense pride in calling ourselves 'Indians'.

India’s contribution at the global level is immensely experienced in different fields, as he listed the top 10 CEO’s of global companies who have their origin in India, with the hope of being inspired by and aspired to be.

Dr K C Naik, the administrator of Shakthi Education Trust, Ramesh K, the chief advisor, Prakyath Rai-institute development officer, Sudheer M K, principal-in-charge of Shakthi PU College, Vidya Kamath G, principal of Shakthi Residential School, Neema Saxena, co-ordinator of Shakthi Pre-School. All the teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present on the occasion.

Shubhashree of grade 9 spoke on the significance of the day while Sharanappa, a Kannada teacher led the team for the National Song and the National Anthem, Preetham of 2nd PU led the parade. Surekha, PET and Rajesh Kharvi, swimming coach were the co-ordinators. Bhavya Amin, English teacher compered the show.
