Mangaluru, Jan 26: Farmers association Hasiru Sene state secretary Ravi Kiran Puncha termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a broker who is selling India bit by bit.

He was speaking to the protestors near the clock tower on Tuesday, January 26, after likeminded organizations took out tractor rally from DC office to Clock tower, expressing solidarity with the farmers protest opposing the farm Bills.

A large number of people took part in the rally holding tricolour flag, placards and raising slogans against the union government.

"The whole country has stood against the government and is opposing farm Bills. The farm Bills will have a severe impact on farmers and also on the common man. After Modi came to power, every sector has been privatized, Modi is a broker who is selling this country and if anyone has the guts, they can file a case against me. Modi is trying to be a world leader or Vishwa Guru but in coming days his name will be etched in the history book as a laughing stock. Modi's followers need to understand this and keep their egos aside. Supreme Court has formed a committee which consists of members from the Narendra Modi drama company," he mocked.

DYFI leaders Muneer Katipalla, Sunil Kumar Bajal, other leaders such as M Devdas, Seetharam, Chandru, Oswald Prakash Fernandes, Jayanthi B Shetty, activist Vidya Dinakar and others were present.

Open market competition with Government oversight is needed to ensure fairness.

It is not Government's job to finance end to end. If need be, Government should do. The reason I am favor of farm bills is this bill reduces Government involvement. As Shashi Tharoor rightly quoted, India's entrepreneurship wakes up in the night when Government goes to sleep.

A farmer gets Rs.2 for his produce and some of the commentators are perfectly fine to pay Rs. 40 per kilo in the market for the same produce. Where does Rs. 38 go? It goes into the pocket of few vested interests who can manipulate the prices depending on who pays them the best bargain.

This politics in the guise of farm bill protests chiefly emanating from Congress and Khalistani stronghold called Punjab financed indirectly by vested interests needs to be show the door. Even Cptn Amrinder Singh is nowhere to be seen. No, Raul and Vadra are busy too. They do not have time to sit on the tractor.

It is true that in the end, Government of the day will have to take care of Agriculture just like Healthcare. But several years of this experiment did not yield any result and today we have an invention called insurance to finance high costs of private healthcare.

Similarly when opened to private operators (it need not be multinationals alone), new biz models will emerge. This should be tried and "always, again always" min Government involvement in biz is the need of the hour.

People now hire taxis at much cheaper rates, only thing is we call it Ola or Uber and it is suddenly affordable. Even Rickshaws are seeing the point. In the past it was plain blackmail. Retailers such as Grofers and Big Basket, the amazons and walmarts (until Govt put them under pressure to protect local traders) are paying huge incentives financed by US wall street; that is fine. But, no our farmers cannot enjoy those incentives, because there are few who gain max benefit from farmer. What kind of thinking is this?

When we notice major points in all three farm bills it looks like it has been drafted in any one of the major corporate offices and given to PM to make it laws in the Parliament. Then PM called his right and left side and told them to pass it in parliament and he want to see the results.
Then all the BJP parliamentarians started their own narrative without reading the bills and passed it in the lower and upper houses without proper discussion and by force
Now everyone can see the situation of our country and all the govt machinery is trying to save the ego of one man.

Even a 5th-grade kid knows that Modi favours his bosses - Reliance & Adani over the public. No wonder that they have managed to bag a chunk of the PSU which were created by former PM Nehru.

The government had been adamant over it's false laws imposed on the farmers. They have peacefully protested so far.
Meetings and meetings were conducted to demoralize farmers attempting to devide them and assassinate them.

Mr KS Maya, you and your predecessors were the business bosses. You never understand farmers pain. How they cultivate without labors, shortage of labourers, failure of rains and nature's fury, bearing pains and sufferings during crop yields failures, a lone farmer is bearing the losses

Businessman will purchase the produce from farmers and sell at the highest profits. When production is more less price. When production is less nothing to sell but the farmers are in tears.

This vikas-ka bakwaas govt., makes music to farmers and dinners to the rich people wearing suit-boot and loot telling all the shoot, lies.

You never understood farmers pains and sufferings.

Sorry, I disagree. You guys clearly showed today what you can do, when you get free finance from western border and from some elements in Canada.

You guys brokered to sell India's pride at the cheapest sell-able price. You will never be forgiven for what you guys did in Delhi. You should be made to pay through your nose for this.

You could take all the tractors onto the street, sustain protests for this long under this cold, summon umpteen ambulances all when you were being compromised by MSP. You think we are fools?

The nation soul is violated, as vandals disguised as farmers, hoisted the Kesari flag, on the Red Fort, in Delhi. This painful plot has tainted n bruised our nation forever !! This evil plot was minutely programmed and executed by Khalistani, Pakistanis ISI, agents, logistics and blessings from the INC and the Leftist parties, who are leaving no stone unturned to ridicule PM Modiji and hope this uprising will bring the NDA government !!! This was a similar to the Anti CAA pogroms, conducted by anarchists radicals !!! The nation has to crack down harshly on these lumpen elements, cast their leaders and every criminal behind bars till eternity !!!! Vande Mataram !!!!!

Farmers have already disassociated from anti-social elements who fuelled this peaceful into violent bloody clash. You can take them and punish them to the fullest extent of the law publicly so that we can see and have a proof that you have taken action your own paid disguised goons brigade. Farmers have data base of all their protesting members and union leaders so it is easy to distinguish between outsiders and farmers.
