Mangaluru Jan 28: “Karavali Sangeetha Kalvidara Okkuta, on the eve of its 13th annual celebration, will organize auditions of ‘Swara Kudla’ Season 3, on Sunday January 31 at BEM School hall, Car Street,” informed Karavali Sangeetha Kalvidara Okkuta president Mohammed Iqbal.

Addressing media here on Thursday January 28, he said, “The auditions will be inaugurated by former national vice president of Association of Consulting Civil Engineers Vijay Vishnu Mayya. Bantwal DySP Valentine D’Souza, correspondent of BEM Education Institutions Rohan Siri, circle inspector of Barke police station Jyothirlinga Honnakatte, and corporators Zeenath Shamshuddin and Jayashree Kudva will be present.

“The semi-final and finals of ‘Swara Kudla’ Season 3 will be conducted on February 10 at town hall where the association will celebrate its 13th annual day. Renowned Sitarist Ustad Rafiq Khan will inaugurate the programme on February 10. Traffic ACP M A Natrajan, proprietor of Symphony music instrument store Loy Noronha, corporators Abdul Lateef and Praveen Chandra Alva, proprietor of AQC Cruise Charan Das V Karkera, Chittaranjan Bolar, founder president of talent research foundation Abdul Rauf Putthige, MLA Vedavyasa Kamath, mayor Diwakar Pandeshwar, police commissioner N Shashikumar, Mangaluru City Corporation opposition leader Abdul Rauf, managing director of Daijiworld media Walter Nandalike, director of Daijiworld media Lawrence D’Souza and others will be present.

“During the annual programme, achievers including renowned Konkani singer Meena Gracia Rebimbus, singer, guitarist, drummer Ganesh Kumar and junior Mohammed Rafi fame Khalid Akhtar P A, will be felicitated.

“The formal function will be followed by cultural programme by winner of ‘Swara Kudla’ competition and also by Karavali Sangeetha Kalvidara Okkuta members.

Advisor Tonse Pushkala Kumar, vice president Mallika Shetty, treasurer Ivan D’Souza and general secretary Ramesh Salian were present.
