Bengaluru, Jan 28: “Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exams will take place between June 14 and June 25,” said Primary and Secondary Education minister S Suresh Kumar on Thursday January 28.

Speaking to reporters he said that SSLC examinations will be held between June 14 and June 25. Similarly 9th standard, SSLC, first and second PUC classes will be held whole day from February 1, the minister informed.

Objections if any to the time table, can be filed between January 28 and February 26, 2021 and sent to the director (examinations), Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, informed the minister.

"Vidyagama classes for sixth to eighth standards will continue. Decision regarding opening other classes will be taken after reviewing the situation during the second week of February and holding discussions with experts.

"Schools and colleges remained closed due to lockdown since March. SSLC classes have resumed from January 1. Though student’s attendance was less initially, it has increased now," he said.
