While demonetisation is obviously a failure there is now even more blatant corruption..
In fact one is laughed @ if not able to corrupt and get things done ..
    Speed money ..
There are many public services which fees are very low but officials fees( bribes ) is double..or more ..
So better increase fees so that govt and citizens benefit but on the condition speedy delivery of services ..
Every rule is an opportunity- the more rules , the greater the opportunity for corruption..
Also An old cliche ..on corruption..
never say yes ..never say no either .. A windfall of opportunity lies between them ..

Flavian, Our Mangalorean people definitely will recognise you even if you wear mask or PPE kit. Don't be disheartened... People are always good here...your people, your neighbors, your friends will recognise you for sure. But, here people ( everywhere) have come to a stage, where they have to think hundred times before they come across any unknown person. as there are so many cheating incidents happened which have drained the trust of our people from their heart. Even, you and all who come from outside have to be very very careful while dealing with the unknowns...

    The Sequence is as follows
    1. Publish in media that India grades low in corruption index.
    2. After 2 Days -Conduct these kind of raids on officers and govt staff.
    3. Pubish in news paper
    4. People think govt is acting on the corrupt
    5. after 7 days ,people will forget about the whole episode. Things are back to square one.
    6. Publish in Media that India performs better in corruption index.
7.Carry on corruption -Publish schemes for the poor ,Talk about license and permits or survey or some documentation requirement from the govt side .MAke public visit the local government officials or offices. Ask public to grease their palms for the next 12 months.
8 .Repeat the same from point one in the next year.

This is only a tip of the iceberg as the saying goes. There are many more Bakasuras who gorge on the public /government wealth and continue to lead a happy peaceful life. But a clerk getting caught redhanded taking 1000 rupees bribe has to spend to face imprisonment for correction.Travrsty of justice indeed.
