Mangaluru: One dead, three seriously injured after car hits tree

Mangaluru, Feb 4: One woman died and three people sustained serious injuries when a car hit a tree at Kulai on the outskirts of the city on Thursday February.

The deceased is identified as Suhana (26). Fathima Shaureen, Rahil Shameem and Razik Shahan are seriously injured. They are being treated at a private hospital in the city.

The occupants of the care were on their way to Chikkamagaluru to attend a marriage function. They had got the food packed and were going to Krishnapura Chokkabettu when the driver of the car lost the control and rammed against a tree.

The car is badly mangled due to the impact of the accident. A case in this connection is registered in Mangaluru north traffic police station.
