Bantwal: Drowned Young Men – Third Body Recovered

Bantwal, Jun 24: Bodies of two out of the three youngsters, who had drowned in River Netravati at Mastikatte near Panemangalore on Monday June 21, had been recovered on Tuesday. The body of the third youth, Ravindra alias Ravi (22), son of the late Gangaiah Moolya from Putrotibail in Narikombu village, was found from near Boliyar on Wednesday.

After the family members identified the body, it was handed over to them. Before that, an inquest was conducted.

Bantwal MLA, B Ramanath Rai, Dakshina Kannada MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, and district BJP president, K Padmanabha Kottary, visited the three families. Besides offering condolences for the shocking demise of the youngsters, who were the breadwinners of the respective families, they consoled the grieving relatives. They promised them to put in their best efforts to ensure that the families will get all the facilities they are eligible to receive from the government.
