Mangalore: Lorry Cleaner Electrocuted

Mangalore, Jun 28: Venkatesh (38) from Tumkur, who used to work as the cleaner of a truck, was electrocuted on Sunday June 27, after coming in contact with live wire in the city.

The truck for which Venkatesh worked, was parked near Deepak Petrol Pump in Panambur. He had gone up the truck to properly cover the load with tarpaulins, as it had started to rain. It is thought that he did not notice a power line passing over his head. He lost his life after he inadvertently touched the power line.

A case was registered in this connection, at Panambur police station.
