Bengaluru, Feb 18: It is said that MLA of Hoskote Sharath Kumar Bache Gowda, son of BJP MP B N Bache Gowda, is going to join Congress on February 26.
Congress sources said that KPCC president D K Shivakumar and former chief minister Siddaramaiah will welcome Sharath in office of Congress party in the city.
It may be recalled, Sharath had defeated BJP candidate M T B Nagaraj in the by-election that was held for Hoskote legislative constituency.
Earlier, the BJP had initiated disciplinary action against Sharath for allegedly worked to defeat party's candidate in Hoskote constituency, M T B Nagaraj.
