Bangalore: Archbishop Bernard Moras Ordains 17 Capuchin Friars as Deacons

Bangalore, Jun 30: Archbishop Dr Bernard Moras ordained seventeen Capuchin friars as Deacons during the ordination ceremony held at Darshan Institute of Theology here on Tuesday June 29. 

The theme they had chosen for this grace-filled occasion was ‘Be My Witnesses’.



In line with the sentiments of these brothers, Rector Baptist Rodrigues, newly-appointed director, the Darshan Institute of Theology, exhorted them to be witnesses through the example of their lives.  He said, “We become living Gospels – the Good News to all we encounter”. The brothers on their part could not but agree in unison that they would work towards the realization of this goal.

    congrates on thier success god bless them .we should thank them that they choose the path because nowaday verry less poeple who join in priesthood /or nun ..because of one or two child in familly.mostly parents dont send them for that. Anyway good luck for them and god belss them to continue their service and walk in the steps of jesus .so they will hellp poeple .
