Mangalore: Acclaimed director M S Sathyu, Farooq Sheikh in City on July 23, 24

Mangalore, Jul 15: An interaction with internationally-acclaimed director M S Sathyu along with the crew of the Kannada movie Ijjodu, will be held at New Chitra theatre here on Saturday July 24.

Dr P N Mayya, Dr Jacintha D’Souza, Prof Radhakrishna, theatre artiste Devadas Kapikad will be participating in the interaction.

The movie, directed by M S Sathyu and produced under the banner of Reliance Big Pictures, will be released on Friday July 23 at New Chitra theatre here in the presence of the movie crew and well-known actor Farooq Sheikh. The movie will be released on Thursday July 22 at Kalpana theatre, Udupi.



















Based on the theme of the Devdasi system, Ijjodu has already successfully run in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Trishur, Goa, Mumbai and Shimla.

As part of the promotion plans, college students comprising groups of not less than ten will avail a discount of 50 percent on entry tickets while entry for college teachers would be free of charge.
