Tulu Koota Qatar Bags ICBF Appreciation Award

Doha, Jul 20: Tulu Koota, Qatar bagged ICBF Appreciation Award in recognition of its contribution to the community during the ICBF Day celebrations at Alghazal Club, recently.

Indian ambassador, Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa, who was the chief guest, handed over the award to the dynamic Tulu Koota president Ramachandra Shetty. Further, the ICBF authorities stated that “Tulu Koota, Qatar, a vibrant socio –cultural organization affiliated to ICC under the aegis of Embassy of India apart from organizing cultural and sports events is also actively involved in fulfilling their social responsibilities of extending generous support to needy and deserving members of the community through ICBF. The contributions are either in kind and volunteering their services at various community activities and extending moral support to the less fortunate whenever the need arises."

Shetty said that it is truly an outstanding honour considering only three associations were selected out of the total of more than 90 associations and testimony to Tulu Koota's sincere service to the genuine needy community members. He requested all the members to come forward and rededicate themselves to extend our services to the less fortunate fellow Indians and Tuluvas in particular.
