Udupi, Jul 20: The incessant rains over the last few days have been wreaking havoc in the district. The low lying areas have been especially affected, throwing normal life out of gear.

While some of the houses were flooded, streets were inundated making it difficult for pedestrians as well as motorists to commute.

Vincy - Shirva/Dubai, you may have a point. But we cannot stop the rain to pour this is God's plan. We can just pray that'z it. But here Daijiworld team has produced such fabulous pictures that any one will be crazy seeing it and enjoying every bit of it. You and me specially sitting in a un-green gulf region, for sure we should be the first enjoyers. The way that boy is standing and awaiting for a fish to have it in hand (for sure he will not curry that fish), the way the do sitting as it is a "KAVALUGARA" for the fishes those in cycle, I still remenmber my Yamaha bike of 1985-1991 I was riding in Mangalore (and still the bike is my property as I did not sell it though I am in gulf for almost 17 years), what else you want Mr. Vincy to enjoy. For the extra disaster if the heavy rain falls in our beautiful "KUDLADA WURU", the let the BJP government worry to solve the natural calamity. Do join with me to enjoy this rain by seeing atleast these kind of fabulous pictures daiji team has produced for which I should hats off to them. I say "Humko Kutta nahin Kata Hai" to think of daijiworld's heading here and then worrying of this. Sorry man, no hard feelings please. God bless you and all who have praised this natural calamity.

I feel so complete when I’m in the rain,
I feel no sorrow I feel no pain,
I may give me a cold but I don’t care,
There’s a calming sensation from grass to air,
The feeling of love I don’t have, I will gain,
Because my heart falls open as I stand in the rain.
But in here vis a vis.
Thank you Daiji for the photographs.

Don't comment it as good rain. Just estimate the damage caused to city. Poor farmers will incur the loss. price for vergetables will rise .It affect the school children . Due to non stopping rain ,water has entered into many people's shouse. Lets us ask the question to these people. Then surely we will not say this too much rain is good .People who sit in gulg they don't get chance to see rain like this in gulf. So they support.
