Dubai to Host Pradeep Barboza's 'Soglem Divnchem..’ on October 8

Dubai, Jul 21: Konkani theatre lovers will be treated to a sumptuous cultural extravaganza on October 8, 2010 at 5.00 pm with the staging of another Konkani Play, ‘Soglem Divnchem Thaanem’ (Everything is given by HIM) at Emirates Theatre in Dubai.

The play is an artistic marvel, created by Paladka boy, Pradeep Barboza, a young, shining star of Konkani Theatre. Barboza has already earned a household name for himself among the Konkani theatre lovers, because of his brilliant acting, direction and writing skills.



'Soglem Divnchem Thaanem' had earlier been staged in Dubai and Moodubidri once, but due to public demand, the play is set to be presented once again, with a little reshuffle in its cast.

It may be recalled that Barboza had directed 'Kasle Grahachar Saibha', a two-hour Konkani play that was staged during Daiji Dubai's 11th anniversary in Dubai recently.

    Wish you all the very best and success for your forthcoming drama. I am sure you guys will rock in Dubai! I have seen this drama once and it is one of the best dramas I have ever seen. It surrounds around the culture of Mangalore and one can recapture the olden times of Mangalorean culture. Superbly written and directed drama and one should not miss this drama. I am ardent fan of Pradeeps comedy plays. He has very clean comedy. The last drama he directed, kasle grahachar saiba was very entertaining. We have to support these youngsters.
