St Mary's College Student Council Election - Euphoria Marks Victory Parade

Udupi, Aug 1: Roshan Dony D’Souza and Raphael Lloyd D’Souza, both final year BCom students of St Mary’s College, Shirva, were elected president and secretary respectively of their student union council here on Saturday July 31.
 
Jayashree Shetty, final year BCom student, was elected joint secretary while Mervyn Saldanha, final year BCom student, and Bhavya, final year BA student, were elected sports secretaries.

Later, the victorious students were taken in a grand procession, accompanied by a band, through the main streets of Shirva.
 
Over 800 students participated in the victory procession.

    Congratulations to all the newly elected members of Students Union Council of St. Mary's College, Shirva. Good report and photos. Good to see the participation of majority of the Students and can see the support of Professors as well as local parishioners (some familiar faces). Morever there is nothing to worry as Shirva and it's surrounding places (Pernal, Pamboor, Pangla, Belle, Belman etc) known for peaceful atmosphere. Also our college is getting good results. As elders advised don't ignore the studies. All the best guys.
