Udupi: Providential escape for passengers after truck topples on car

Udupi, Apr 23: In an accident that occurred at Syndicate Circle of Manipal near here on Friday April 23, a truck carrying jelly stones toppled and fell onto a car as its breaks got jammed suddenly.

The car was plying towards Manipal from Udupi. The truck was full of jelly stones. Only the front portion of the car was damaged in the mishap.

The passengers in the car had a providential escape.

The truck was completely damaged in the accident.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the mishap. Jelly stones were strewn all over the place on the main road.
