Udupi, Apr 28: Out Patient Department (OPD) services at KMC hospital Manipal will be available from 8 am to 2 pm only during the lockdown period. This information was shared by Dr Avinash Shetty, medical superintendent of the hospital.
In a press release, Dr Shetty said, "In accordance to the order by the government, the Janatha curfew which is in force in Karnataka and lack of availability of public transport with effect from Thursday April 29 OPD services for all the specialties will function for half a day from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm. This change will continue for as long as Janatha curfew is implemented by the government. However, emergency services will be available 24*7 as usual.
