Bengaluru: Puttanna Kanagal's son, Makeup Seenu lose battle with corona

Bengaluru, Apr 29: Ramu Kanagal, son of renowned movie director, the late Puttanna Kanagal, died of coronavirus infection on Wednesday April 28 morning. He was being treated in Victoria Hospital for the last some days. His infection was confirmed after he was hospitalised, family sources said.

Ramu Kanagal was a Bharatanatyam exponent. He was unmarried. He was operating four dance training schools named 'Kanagal Nrityalaya' in the city. He had taken part in several national and international classical dance programmes and had many disciples. Many dignitaries have mourned his death.

Makeup Seenu

Respected makeup artiste of Sandalwood, Srinivas, who was better known with the name, 'Makeup Seenu', breathed his last due to coronavirus infection on Wednesday. He was suffering from breathing difficulties. He was admitted into a hospital two days back. He had served Kannada filmdom for 25 years. He was the vice president of Kannada cine makeup and hair artists association.
