Bantwal, Apr 30: Laxmi (53) former president of Pudu gram panchayat and current member passed away due to heart failure on Thursday.
She was the resident of Kumdelu and was elected five times consecutively as a gram panchayat member from Maripalla, Perimar ward. She worked hard for the all-round progress of the ward and the grama. She was the current member of Pudu panchayat.
She has left behind her husband, daughter, two sons, friends and relatives.
MLA U T Khader, Pudu gram panchayat president Ramlan Maripalla, vice president Lidia Pinto, former district panchayat member Umar Faruk Farangipete, members of Pudu gram panchayat and staff have expressed their condolences on her sad demise.
