Instead of mentioning "All Religion Mass Marriage" isn't it better "Mass Marriage to Young Couples'.
Today to me the word relgion is stinking. Remove that word and do the good work by honouring our Country. Let our Country come first in every good work we do.
    Congratulations to R.M.Group.

This event All Religion mass marriage organized by M/s R.M. Group from Bellare/Bangalore is a superb motivation to the rich families and to the Social Organizations to extend their services to the needy and poor sectors of our society irrespective of caste, creed or religion.

These kind of joint events will definitely contribute a lot to boost the image of our society by enhancing trust, peace and harmony in between all the communities in the society we live in.

By this all religion mass marriage event, the following social benefits can please be noted:

    1) It would be great that rich families who are blessed with abundant wealth can spend part of their god given wealth for the causes of poor and needy either for education, health requirements or for social causes like mass marriages etc., so that they will also be blessed.

    2) This kind of event promotes the simple marriages. Unnecessary expenditures can be eradicated.

    3) All-Religion mass marriages will boost the trust and harmony between hindus, muslims, Christians and other communities.

    4) It is an eye opener those who spend lavishly on marriages.

    5) The dowry system can be eradicated from all the communities.

    6) Poor parents will not be burdened with the evil system of dowry.

    7) So called dowry demanding parents or boys will not get chance to demand the dowries.

    8) Garlanding the religious heads together with one garland is really an innovative idea. This will boost the friendship.

Definitely there are thousands of unmarried poor sisters who have attained the age of their marriages are eager to join their life partner through the holy relationship of marriage. But alas! the evil of dowry system put them in trouble.

Considering the above mentioned social problems and social benefits, Can we expect that more and more rich families and Social Organizations will come forward to take up these kind of social ventures like all-religion mass marriages now and in future please!

Wonderful idea and equally a good begining towards unity of relegions.

I congratulate RM Group from the bottom of my heart and pray God to give them more strength to conduct similar programmes in the near future.

It would have been better if the money spent on publicity and extravaganza would have been used for wedlock for another 30 underprevilaged couples which would have been dobe easily.

    Mahima,

Like in all other religions, during a marriage ceremony, Christians exchange vows to be together in sickness and health, wealth and poverty. Remaining rituals that happen in the Church are not a part of the vow-taking.

Could someone enlighten me if this was a programme to felicitate newly married couples or if this was a marriage ceremony conducted as per the religious rites of the respective couples.
If this was a marriage ceremony, I wonder how a Christian couple could get married here, as Christian marriages are only solemnised in a Church ceremony.
