Kasargod: Total number of Covid infected crosses 50,000 mark

Kasargod, May 3: The total number of Covid infected people in the district has crossed the 50,000 mark. The first infected person in Kasargod was found on February 3, 2020. The number has crossed 50,000 after a year.

1,139 patients were found positive for the virus on Monday. While 85 have recovered, 11,796 are under treatment. Meanwhile, 14,377 are under observation.

50,535 have tested positive so far and 38,363 have been cured from the infection.
