Kuwait : UMK Presents 'Kasale Grachar Saibha..' on Oct 1

Kuwait, Aug 16: 'Kasale Grachar Saibha..' the Konkani play which thoroughly entertained the Dubai audience on April 9, 2010 during the Daiji Dubai anniversary, is now all set to be staged in Kuwait by local Kuwait artistes.

United Mangaloreans Kuwait (UMK), yet again, will be presenting a new ‘Fun Filled Evening - 2010’ on Friday October 1, 2010, at 5.30 pm at the American International School, Maidan Hawalli, with a set of new and old local artistes. The event is being organized to help the Christraj Navachetan Special School for mentally challenged, Venur, Beltangady. This programme will include a variety of melodious songs and foot-tapping bollywood dances, followed by the much-acclaimed comical thriller drama, ‘Kasale Grachar Saiba’.

This two-hour-long comedy play has been authored by popular writer, Stan Ageira Mulky, and directed by Ronald D'Souza Mulky.

The play focuses on the concept of sharing accommodation prevalent in Kuwait. UMK has put in lot of efforts to stage this comedy play, which promises to provide non-stop entertainment. The UMK Group has requested the audiences to occupy their seats well in advance, as the event will kick-off at 5.30 pm sharp.

UMK has thanked all its sponsors, well-wishers and the audiences for their overwhelming support for its maiden show presented in 2009. Through the generous support and contributions of everyone concerned, the show was a super hit and successful, it said.
