Udupi: Former principal of SMS PU College Brahmavar no more

Udupi, May 19: A 67-year-old Salvadore Noronha, a retired principal of SMS PU College Brahmavar breathed his last on the morning of Wednesday May 19.

He was recently admitted to the hospital in connection with a Covid-related ailment but succumbed to the illness as he could not respond to treatment.

Noronha began service in 1976 and was principal of SMS PU College for six years retiring in November 2014.

He was the immediate past president of Milagres College Kallianpur alumni.

He was active in many associations like Rotary Club, Sports Club Brahmavar and other associations.
