Kundapur: Red Cross taluk branch donates five oxygen concentrators

Kundapur, May 22: The local branch of the Indian Red Cross Society donated five oxygen concentrators to the government hospital in the town.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Jagadeesh said, “Donors in our district are helping the administration to save lives by donating oxygen concentrators. This gift donated by the Red Cross is invaluable. It will help in saving the lives of countless people.”

G Shankar donated 10, Red Cross donated five and many others are donating in whatever way they can. The government is giving 20.

Preparations are done to face the third wave of coronavirus. A hospital of 25 ICU beds for children is being built in the wake of the reports of the expert committee that the third wave will have devastating effects on children.
