Mangaluru: Founder of Sharda Printers Karnad K Krishna R Shetty passes away

Mangaluru, May 24: Founder of Sharada Printers, Karnad, K Krishna R Shetty (74) Nandagokula Karnadu, passed away on Sunday May 23.

He was the administrator of Karnadu Harihara Kshethra, a member of the Bappanadu Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple renovation Committee. He also served as president of Bappanadu Youth Club for 35 years. K Krishna R Shetty is survived by three sons, a daughter, sister, brothers, relatives and a large number of admirers.

Krishna Shetty was the former treasurer of Karnad Dharmasthana. He also served as the director of the Karnad Multi Purpose Co-operative Society. He was a member of the Public Hindu crematorium development committee and executive committee member of Mulky Bantara Sangha.

Krishna Shetty was a close friend of former minister Amarnath Shetty. Former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, former chief minister D Kumaraswamy, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Umanatha Kotyan and former minister K Abhayachandra Jain, member of the Vidhana Parishad Pratapasimha Nayak, king of Mulki Seeme Shri Dugganna Sawantu, ancestral administrator K Manohar Shetty, chairman of Bappanadu renovation committee president M N Shetty, working president Shekhar T Shetty, Harihara Kshetra administrator M H Aravind Poonja, president of the Global Bunter's Union Ikala Harish Shetty, secretary Jayakar Shetty Indrali, Buntar Yane Nadavara Mathr Sangha, Bunts Welfare international trust president Sadananda Shetty, MUlky Bunt’s association president Santhosh Hegde, Mulki town panchayat president Subhash Shetty, vice president Satish Anchan, town panchayat standing committee chairman Harsha Raj Shetty, former president Sunil Alva, businessman Jitendra Kottari and several dignitaries condoled his death.
