Byndoor, May 25: Rohan (14), an eighth standard student form Hoskote in Bijoor village of the taluk, committed suicide on Sunday May 23.

Rohan used to stay aloof and preferred to be alone in the recent past. He did not mingle with others and mostly spent time inside his room. He was always seen playing mobile phone games. The family members who were worried about this habit, had advised him against playing games on the mobile phone and instead, concentrate on his studies.

It is said that the boy got angry at this advice. He went inside his room, closed the door, and hanged himself from the beam supporting the roof. The family members cut the rope from which he was found hanging, and took him to the government hospital at Kundapur immediately. But by then, he had breathed his last.

Rohan was a student of the high school section of Uppunda junior college. A complaint about his unnatural death was registered in Byndoor police station on the basis of a report filed by a close relative named Babu Poojary.
