APMC weekly market in Udupi suspended

Udupi, May 26: As the number of Covid cases is surging in the district, in view of the welfare of the people, the deputy commissioner has suspended the weekly market at Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) yard held every Wednesday here until further orders.

The wholesale and retail business that was being conducted on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays is banned till June 7.

The APMC president in a press release has sought the cooperation of people and traders.
