Mangaluru: Boy's murder over mobile game controversy - Accused gets bail

Mangaluru, May 28: Relating to the murder of a boy in a ground on the backside of Falaha School at Ullal K C Nagar, the second district and sessions court sanctioned conditional bail to the accused.

On the issue of mobile video game, friction had arisen between two boys. Mohammed Akeef (12), a student residing near Kotekar Komarangala, was murdered. In this case, his friend, a 17-year-old juvenile delinquent, had been arrested. The police who conducted detailed investigation in the case, had arrested the father of the boy for trying to destroy evidence.

The court which conducted hearing in the case, granted conditional bail to the boy's father. Advocates, Narayana L and Mahesh R had argued the case on behalf of the accused.
