Bengaluru, May 29: Revenue Minister R Ashok on Saturday inaugurated a Pilot Project of Aerial Spraying of Organic Disinfectant for 3 days over highly populated areas of Bangalore city by Aerialworks Aero LLP. 

BDA Chairman S R Vishwanath, Aerialworks Aero LLP Capt Murali Ramakrishna, Capt Nagesh, BBMP Administrator Rakesh Singh were present on the occasion.

Karnataka State Pollution control board will monitor the spread and effectiveness by their technical team.

Aerialworks Aero LLP has set up an Aerial Platform using the latest Technology to spray disinfectant in Microns to keep the Organic Liquid suspended in the air for a longer duration of time so Bacteria floating in aerosols will be washed down limiting the spread of Covid by air.

The firm will execute a Pilot Project for 3 days over highly populated areas of Bangalore city.

The firm has received clearances from concerned authorities to do this operation in a safe and secure manner in American Champion Scout with a loading capacity of up to 300 liters and can spray about 300 hectares in an hour at low altitudes using CP Nozzles on ULV Sprayers below 100 microns.
