Bengaluru: 'India made pitiable after promising world leadership' - Gundu Rao

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, May 31: "Glorifying Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who is an embodiment of falsehood, and misleading people with false promises is not an achievement," said Congress leader, Dinesh Gundu Rao. He commented about the celebration of seven years of Prime Ministership by Modi in a tweet. He wondered for what achievement are the BJP leaders celebrating the occasion.

He accused the Prime Minister of showing the distant dream of good days ahead and then pushing the country to the depths of misery. He said other than being the middleman of corporate companies, the Prime Minister has done nothing. He said that Modi has forgotten about his promise of bringing back black money.

"What did the 'Mann Ki Baat' programme achieve other than boring the people? India is below Pakistan as far as the hunger index is concerned. GDP is less than that of Bangladesh. Is leading the country to its lowest ebb the achievement of the Prime Minister," he quipped. He also accused the PM of speaking something and doing something else.

Dinesh questioned whether Operation Kamala is a proud achievement of the Prime Minister. He advised the BJP leaders to study the recent court opinions and to have genuine exchange of ideas with the people and then realise for themselves that they have done nothing that is appreciable so far.
