Mangaluru: Journalist Yashwant Ikala passes away

Mangaluru, Jun 2: A 50-year-old journalist died due to covid-19 here on Wednesday June 02.

The deceased is Yashwanth Ikala. It is said that he was admitted to the hospital for 20 days.

He was the president of Mulki Rotary Club. He was serving as Secretary of the South Kanara Photographers Association (Mulki Zone).

He was the editor of a web portal Namma Kinnigoli. He had also worked for a Kannada daily as a reporter for a few years.

He is survived by wife and relatives.
