    Wed, Aug 25 2010

It was with deep sorrow we received the sad news of the demise of our beloved friend and brother Rev J B Challa. He was my classmate at the Theological Seminary and on our ordination day on our behalf delivered the consecration sermon to the ministry. He was always cheerful and humorous and man of many gifts and talents. Following his father’s footstep, he stepped into the ministry and served the church of God at large with devotion, dedication and distinction till the end. Therefore, as we thank God for his life and ministry, I am confident that when he entered the presence of our Lord to receive his eternal reward our Lord would have said, ‘Well done good and faithful servant... come and share your Master’s happiness!’ [Mt 25:1 21] ’ We pray that his family and friends may be consoled with this assurance and peace of God.
