Kundapur, Jun 3: Assistant commissioner K Raju on Thursday, June 3 directed Navayuga and IRB company officials to ensure that the public does not face problems due to the road works on National Highway, during the monsoons. He also asked the officials to take measures for the free flow of stormwater and proper drains on the National Highway.

On Thursday, AC Raju visited the places where the works of the National Highway have completed in Kundapur.

He also directed the officials to maintain the National Highway roads on the places where water gets clogged due to improper drainage facilities.

"If the companies failed to solve the problem, strict action will be initiated against them," he told.

Tahsildar, Andappa Naik, town municipal council Gopal Krishna Shetty, Kundapur inspector, Sadhashiva Gauvoriji, revenue inspector, Dinesh, IRB official, Prafulla Kakade and Bojakanth were present.
