Moodbidri, Jun 9: In a tragic development, three members of a single family passed away due to ill health in a matter of 12 days. The family of four has as a result, been quickly reduced to a lone survivor in 12 days.
Bharathi (42), wife of Dileep Sapaliga, who is a mechanic by profession, died due to various ailments she was suffering from. She passed away on May 29.
Dileep's mother, Susheela (80), died on June 2 due to age-related health issues. Shruti (21), daughter of Dileep and Bharathi couple, who was attending degree classes, had fallen sick due to pneumonia for the last some days. She had been admitted into a private hospital. Without responding to treatments, she passed away on Tuesday June 8.
Dileep is the only survivor of the family, having lost three dear ones in 12 days.
