Being a wellwisher and admirer of GVOM, I greatly look forward to the semifinals and finals of this programme. I was a bit disappoited at the number of entries for the auditions. I was expecting atleast 3 times the entries compared to 2008 given the popularity this event has enjoyed. The reasons could vary, but I would suggest the organizers to avoid publishing the age and qualification of the contestants. Most of the contestants are from the 30 plus age group. Some of the female singers are housewives. Asking their age and qualification in public wouldn't be very polite. As expressed by one of the singers to me, this might have discouraged many of them from participating. I hope GVOM will become more and more popular and help in locating the best talent in the Gulf. I wish the organizers, participants and daijiworld all the best.

CongraTulations to organizers of Voice of Mangalore. In this recession erra it is difficult to organize the mega event like GVOM (Gulf Voice of Manglaore). At the same, time i would like to know what is the difference between VVIP and VIP and also request the organizers not to differentiate our community/public calling VVIP, VIP and ordinary persons.
