Davanagere, Jul 6: A collision between a container truck and a car had occurred in Davanagere on Monday, July 5 where a father and a son had sustained severe injuries. As per the recent update, the father who has been identified as senior photographer Navunda Ashok Kumar Shetty (58) succumbed to his injuries.
Ashok's car had rammed into a truck's rear end in the early hours of Monday. The car had Ashok, his son Pannaga (24) in the driver's seat and another man identified as Kumar in the back seat. The trio was heading back from attending a wedding ceremony.
Reports stated that the 58-year-old passed away on Tuesday, July 6 after he stopped responding to treatment.
Ashok has also served as the president of the Kundapur Photographers Association and president of the State Photographers' Association.
