Bengaluru, Jul 12: Karnataka on Monday, July 12 registered 1,386 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 34,858. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 319.
As many as 61 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Monday, with Bengaluru Urban recording nine deaths, the death toll in the state has risen to 35,896.
The state recorded 3,204 discharges from hospitals on Monday, taking the total discharges to 28,01,907.
So far, Karnataka has seen 28,72,684 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.26% while the case fatality rate for the day is 4.40%.
As many as 2,58,30,507 people have received vaccination so far.
