Brahmavar, Jul 13: Kota station house officer, Santhosh B P, led a team of policemen that arrested a person who was found to be illegally transporting ganja from Kota to Padukere. The arrest was made on Monday July 12.
The arrested accused has been identified as Ibrahim alias Akashvani Ibahim from Kotathattu Padukere. When he was carrying ganja in his scooty, he was intercepted and arrested near Varunatheertha pond in Kota. About 1,450 grams of ganja was seized from his possession.
Brahmavar tahsildar Rajashekharamurthy, visited the spot and scrutinized the same. The matter is being further investigated by the Kota police.
